I've been thinking recently about a speech that Al Gore made a year or so ago, in which he coined the phrase "amygdala politics". The topic of the speech was the use of fear in politics in the post-9/11 era, and his analysis was dead-on.

I wanted to provide some quotes here, but I can't seem to find a reference to the original speech anywhere online. Does anyone have the text?
